Now that we have been operating with 3 courts for nearly 4 months now, we've been able to completely clear our waiting list, which the club has been carrying like a heavy rucksack since we exited lockdown late in 2021. This has enabled us to boost our membership to 20 players, but we still have space for more. Our original target was to reach 24 members, which would enable us to fully utilise all 3 courts, whilst still having players on standby.
If you haven't already had a 'walk' round the pages of this website, I would recommend you take a few minutes to do so, as there's a whole range of info regarding the club, our weekly sessions, our Social Club and how you can get involved.
As a new player, you're entitled to a free taster session, giving you a gentle introduction to the club, its sessions and its members. There's absolutely no obligation to join, but if you do, you get access to a weekly 2 hour, 3 court session with a truly wonderful group of like minded people, you automatically get an invitation to every event which our Social Club plans, and that is all available for just £3.07 per week.
Many of our members have returned to the sport after a number of years away, myself included, so have joined us having a certain level of playing experience. Even if you haven't played for a while, it's very easy to get back in to the game and there haven't been too many rule changes in recent years, but we can update you on the important points you need to know.
